This is Noanyi’s privacy policy. It tells you what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We’ve written it in plain language because you shouldn’t need a lawyer to understand how your data is being used.

Who We Are
Noanyi (noanyi.com) is a real estate media platform covering Ghana’s property market. The site is operated by Noanyi Ltd, a Ghana-registered company.
For the purposes of Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Noanyi Ltd is the data controller — meaning we’re responsible for how your personal information is collected and used.
What Information We Collect
When you contact us or submit an enquiry
If you fill out a contact form, newsletter signup, or developer enquiry form on the site, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if you provide it)
- The nature of your enquiry
When you browse the site
We use tools that automatically collect certain information about your visit:
- Pages you visited and how long you spent on them
- How you arrived at the site (search engine, direct link, social media, etc.)
- Your general location (country or city level — not your address)
- Your device type and browser
- Session recordings and heatmaps via Microsoft Clarity — this tool records how users interact with pages to help us improve the site experience
We don’t collect your name or contact details just from browsing.
Cookies
Noanyi uses cookies — small files stored on your device. We use them for three purposes:
- Strictly necessary — keeping the site working properly. These run without your consent because the site can’t function without them.
- Analytics — understanding how visitors use the site. These require your consent.
- Advertising — serving relevant ads via Google AdSense. These require your consent.
When you first visit Noanyi, you’ll see a cookie banner asking for your consent to analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your preferences at any time through that banner, or manage cookies directly through your browser settings.

We do not use your information to send you unsolicited marketing. If you sign up for the newsletter and change your mind, every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at hi@noanyi.com.
Developer Enquiries — Read This
If you use the developer enquiry form on Noanyi, your name, contact details, and enquiry are shared with the developer you’re enquiring about. That’s the point of the feature — it routes your enquiry to them directly.
By submitting an enquiry, you’re consenting to that sharing. We don’t sell enquiry data to third parties or use it for other purposes.
We keep a record of enquiries in our internal systems for administration and follow-up tracking purposes.
Who Else Sees Your Data
We use a small number of third-party tools that may process your data:
- Google — we use Google Analytics (site analytics), Google Search Console (search performance monitoring), and Google AdSense (advertising). Google Analytics and AdSense use cookies and may process your data on Google’s servers. Search Console is a backend tool only — it doesn’t collect your personal data. Google’s privacy policy applies to all Google services. You can manage your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmap analytics. Microsoft’s privacy policy applies to data they process.
- WordPress — our publishing platform. Site data is hosted and processed via WordPress infrastructure.
- Email service provider — used to send newsletter emails to subscribers.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertisers directly. Any developer who receives your enquiry data has agreed to use it only for responding to your enquiry.
International Data Transfers
Noanyi is based in Ghana. Some of the third-party tools we use — including Google and Microsoft — process data on servers outside Ghana and outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
For visitors from the EU or UK: where your data is transferred outside the EEA to countries without an EU adequacy decision (which includes Ghana), we rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. Google and Microsoft maintain their own transfer mechanisms under their respective data processing agreements.
How Long We Keep Your Data
- Contact form and enquiry data: Kept for up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Newsletter subscriber data: Kept for as long as you’re subscribed, plus 6 months after you unsubscribe.
- Analytics and session data: Per the policies of the relevant tool — Google Analytics defaults to 14 months; Microsoft Clarity defaults to 13 months.
Your Rights Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act 2012
Under Act 843, you have the right to:
- Know whether we hold personal data about you
- Access that data — you can ask us to send you a copy
- Correct any inaccurate information we hold
- Object to how we’re processing your data
- Delete your data, in certain circumstances

If you believe we’ve handled your data improperly, you can also lodge a complaint with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.org.gh.
A note for visitors from the EU or UK
If you’re accessing this site from the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR (or UK GDPR) applies to you. In addition to the rights above, you also have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. Contact us at hi@noanyi.com for GDPR-specific requests — we’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
Noanyi is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. We won’t bury important changes in small print.
