Freedom Jaco Caesar, nicknamed “Cheddar” and formerly known as Nana Kwame Bediako is a real estate mogul, multi-millionaire, investor and entrepreneur from Ghana.
He is famous as the CEO of Wonda World Estate and Petronia City Development Company. He also serves as chairman of New World Philanthropic Foundation, a charity where he gives back to the community. He also runs two other companies, Belfast City and Property Management Services and New Africa Construction. All these brands are part of the Kwarleyz Group where he is President.
He also serves as the co-principal of Capital Nine Zero Fund, which he established with a British multi-millionaire property developer, Azad Cola.
Cheddar recounts that he grew up in poverty with his penniless mother even though he had a rich father. To honour his mom, an image of her is displayed on the walls of Kwarleyz Residence, one of his real estate developments.
Born in Ghana and raised in the United Kingdom, Cheddar schooled at Waltham Forest College and for short while, at Westminster College. It is at Westminster College that he is reported to have made his first million at just 21 years. He reportedly made a million pounds selling scrap, steel, and telecommunications material while still in school.
He stumbled into the real estate sector when he rented space in Accra to run Temptations Nite Club, rented Accra premises to operate a highly successful night club. He subsequently bought the premises and later sold it for a tidy profit.
The 38-year old father of four’s net worth was estimated to be $350 million as of 2017.
